The Garland Area Rehabilitation Center is a site-based vocational training
center which offers work opportunities to 200 adults with disabilities in four
separate work sites. Consumers are referred to GARC by 9 private ICF-MR
residential providers, 2 county ICR- MR residential providers, 12 private
HCS providers, 2 county HCS providers and private families. GARC also
received referrals from the Texas Rehabilitation Commission. Services
are offered Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:45pm at the
following Garland locations:
