Metroplex Habilitation Services is the newest division of NTRS. Opened in
November, 2001, MHS provides habilitation, social, recreational,
vocational and community inclusion services to adults with mental
retardation and other disabilities. The curriculum for MHS is based on
daily living responsibilities, community education and skills training.
Services are provided both in the community and at the MHS site and are
offered Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Consumers are
referred from several private and county ICF-MR and HCS projects. Private
families are also referral sources for this location. MHS location:
